Each year, the Torrey Botanical Society awards grants to undergraduate and graduate students for botanical research and training. We also offer an award to support symposia, open to applicants at any career stage.
This year, student research awards have increased to $2,500; amounts for other awards are listed below. Applications for all awards are due January 15, 2027, and recipients will be notified in early spring.
All applicants must be members of the Torrey Botanical Society (become a member). You may apply for more than one award in the same year, but please submit a separate application for each.
